According to the American Immigration Lawyers
Association, three union groups, the AFL-CIO, IEEE, and
DPE, sent separate letters to members of the Senate
Judiciary Committee this week urging opposition to a
proposal that would exempt foreign graduates of U.S.
university master's and Ph.D. programs from the H-1B
cap.
Congress needs to hear from employers who rely on H-1B
nonimmigrants. We urge you to contact your congressional
representative and to pass this information onto others
within your organization. You can find a link on our
home page under "Advocacy".
It is time for employers to speak out.
