| DOS alert to travelers entering the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program |

The Department of State (DOS) issued a Fact Sheet which
explains that as of September 30, 2004, all individuals
who enter the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program will be
enrolled in US-VISIT. This will require these
individuals to be fingerprinted and photographed.
The Fact Sheet also reminds visa waiver travelers that effective October 26, 2004 they will be required to present a machine-readable passport or a valid U.S. visa in order to enter the U.S. Click here to view the Fact Sheet. |
