USCIS reports that the random selection lottery was conducted on April 12, 2007. The Update states that those H-1B cases that have been selected in the lottery will be notified by the issuance of a receipt. There will be no separate notice of lottery selection.

Jackson & Hertogs has begun to receive Premium Processing receipt notices on H-1B cases as of today. According to the USCIS, if an employer (or its attorney) receives an H-1B receipt notice on a case that was entered into the lottery, that H-1B case was randomly selected and it is currently being processed by USCIS.
