In communicating with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), USCIS has indicated that they have yet to issue all receipts for cap-subject H-1B petitions that were filed on April 2, 2007. USCIS has indicated to AILA that the completion date for this effort is May 11, 2007. Jackson & Hertogs is forwarding receipts that have been issued on cap-subject H-1B petitions as they are received. Until a petition is rejected by USCIS, we will not assume that the petition has been rejected. If your case is rejected, you will receive notification from your Jackson & Hertogs attorney.
