In a welcome development, the Department of State (DOS) announced that both the duration of H visas (including H-1B and H-4) and the number of entries for citizens of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) has been increased. Previously H visas issued by U.S. Consulates/Embassies were limited to a 3 month duration and only 2 entries. The DOS has now made available H visas valid for 12 months and multiple entries.
