USCIS has begun to notify our office of the first round of Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 H-1B cap registration selections.
USCIS is notifying us of selections in rolling batches. Therefore we will not know for sure who has and has not been selected until USCIS announces selections are done. This can happen any time up until March 31.
For those selected: Our office will be reaching out to you directly if you have been selected – please wait to hear from us. Those selected in this first round have a new 90 day window starting April 1 to submit a full H-1B cap subject petition to USCIS.
For those not selected: USCIS has indicated that any H-1B Cap Registration which is not selected by March 31 will be placed onto a waitlist.
To reiterate, we will not know for sure whether you are on the waitlist until USCIS announces selections are complete or March 31, whichever is soonest. We will be in touch once we have an update for you either way. Please do wait to hear from us.
