USCIS issued an update that it has received enough electronic registrations during the initial registration period to reach the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 H-1B numerical allocations (H-1B cap). The annual limit of 85,000 new H-1B cap registrations, including regular and advanced-degree selections has been reached. As a result, there will be no second round of cap selections this year. USCIS has completed sending non-selection notifications to H-1B cap registrants’ online accounts. Registrations that were not selected will now show “Not Selected – not eligible to file an H-1B cap petition based on this registration” in the registrants’ account.
